Pricing

You can select your preferred payment method at checkout. We accept all major credit and debit cards . 

We accept secure payments for customers via Credit Cards, Debit Cards & PayPal.   

Note that additional exchange fee may apply if your currency is other than US dollars.  

International taxes might be applied depending on your country's taxes policy. 

Customs duty is calculated as a percentage of the customs value of the goods. The percentage or rate varies depending on the type of goods. You can check the tariff applicable in the TARIC database for EU and Import calculator for USA. The customs value is made up of: the price paid for the goods, the insurance cost, the shipping cost. 

Why isn’t my promo code working?

Please check if the code has already expired or spelt incorrectly. When you have reached the checkout stage, there will be a section to enter your promotional code before you place your order.  

What if I forget to use my promotional code?

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do if your order has already been placed. However, email us and we will give you new code for your next new order.  

If you have trouble paying via credit card: Please check the details of your card info to make sure they are correct, including the expiration date, cardholder name, security code on the back of your card as well as the billing address. Please ensure that you have not reached the card limit or if the card is currently being reviewed by your bank. In case your payment is still refused, we suggest you try a different card or payment method. If the advice above does not work, please contact your bank or submit a ticket with as much detail along with the error messages.  

Returns

Return and Exchange Policy:

At Adey Abeba, customer satisfaction is our priority. We gladly accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of the original purchase date for ready-made items. However, please note that Made to Order items are non-returnable.

For eligible returns/exchanges:

  1. Items must be in unused condition with all tags attached.
  2. Original proof of purchase is required.
  3. Returns/exchanges are not accepted for Made to Order items.

To initiate a return/exchange:

  1. Contact our customer service within 15 days of purchase.
  2. Provide order details and reason for the return/exchange.
  3. We will guide you through the process.

Please allow 7-14 business days for processing returns/exchanges.

As all our garments are made in Ethiopia, each are handwoven and delicate fabrics. Feel there is a quality issue or notice defects, you may contact shop@adey-abeba.com to discuss available options within 3 business days of receiving the shipping. We ask that you send 3-5 photos of the incorrect/damaged merchandise for our reference.

We advise dry cleaning/ hand wash for all items for the best care. 

Shipping

Upon order placement, you will receive a confirmation email containing your order number and the list of items purchased. Ready-to-wear orders will be prepared for shipment within 3 - 7 days. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages.

For Made to Order items, expect shipment within 15-30 days. Shipping and delivery time do not include weekends or holidays. A tracking number will be provided once your order is dispatched.

Our Made to Order items are shipped from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Enjoy free shipping on orders over $350. Shipping options for the Continental United States are as follows:

Standard Shipping (2-15 days): Free
FedEx Economy: $15

Any possible delays in the delivery of your packages will be FedEx's responsibility. So please contact FedEx directly with your tracking number. 

What do I do if I never receive my package?

Your tracking number will provide a date of delivery. If it is not received by then, please contact either FedEx's at 1 (800) 463-3339 depending on which carrier provided in “Your order has shipped” email. Please note we are not responsible for any delays the shipping carrier may have. However, we will resolve any issues we can.
